An aquaintance ('P') just told me that last week she observed a woman putting a bottle in a tree on Kent Terrace. Thinking it was a Bottled (s)Word, P waited until the coast was clear and excitedly went to retrieve said bottle. Alas, the tree was empty. Disappointed, P surmised that the woman had probably been recovering a hidden stash of plonk.

Bottle#15: Craig ireson Vintage "she went for the booze, she got the (s)word"01.03.08 13:03

I left my bottle in a picnic hamper onstage at Newtown
Spoken Word Summer 08 (not a Fringe festival event, more like a fringe of the
Fringe). it was placed alongside a bottle of red wine, poetry books and a bunch
of bright red apples.
Each reader was asked to take an apple after their tale, a tempting treat for
each obdurate adam and eve~but none took the paradisical bait-
One lucky punter with a sharp tongue and sharper eye was asked back to read her
last words for the night, and declining an apple she went for the booze.
Sadly for her the vintage had no rough rouge but rogue words instead were
encapsulated in the green caspule- an Ireson Vintage
Eryn, recently of Tauranga, is now the pruod owner and (hopefully) a little
less hungover fopr the choice.
How do you like them apples?

Bottled (s)Word # 20: Dr Quaffer Vintage dropped at Happy28.02.08 11:02
Posted by: Dr Shopper
The Bottled (s)Word was left at the Fanotron event last night. However between the dim lighting and the audiences fascination with the whirring spinning and droning, nobody observed the bottle during the show.
The bottle was then taken through to Happy prior to the Zarathustra Said show. The bottle was left on the bar and promptly taken by a member of the Fringe technical crew, who expressed his enthusiasm at getting one of the bottles, and was even more excited to see the contents of the bottle.
Bottle contents: two short stories extracted from LA Prince's novel in progress, "Ronny", and no golden ticket.

"I released my bottled s-word at the 'Reptiles 'R' US xhibion .
It was cool cause I took my bottle out with me for release without knowing
exactly where I was going to do it.
Then I got to Thistle Hall and heard how there had been a flood the

which flooded down into the hall.
I thought my bottle was in the right place, apres le deluge!"

Bottled (s)Word #9 Found08.02.08 11:02
Posted by: Dr Shopper
Bottle #9 was found by "H" an attendee at the W.ART exhibition opening @ DAF106 gallery, 106 Aro Street.
Bottled (s)Words #9 was a 'Robbie' vintage concocted by DAF106 gallery co-owner Francis Barlow. It contained poetry by west coast poet Robbie Barrow (seen recently in a whitebait fever on TV1's Gravy art show).
The bottle was cunningly placed on the table with nibbles and wine bottles and went unnoticed for quite a while until "H" sniffed it out.
It did not contain the elusive & much coveted Golden Ticket...

The Green Language : The Emerald Tablet21.02.08
Posted by: SOLAR
'The Emerald Tablet' was bottled and set adrift. Like the tablets of Lamech all of knowledge was placed in the 'Wild Field of Thought' (a pure greenness). Knowledge is attained by first being green (or by admitting you are 'not-knowing' and becoming 'unknowledgable').
"The Emerald Tablet, also known as Smaragdine Table, Tabula Smaragdina, or The Secret of Hermes, is an ancient text purporting to reveal the secret of the primordial substance [being]."
One translation from 'Aurelium Occultae Philosophorum' by Georgio Beato reads:
1) This is true and remote from all cover of falsehood.
2) Whatever is below is similar to that which is above. Through this the marvels of the work of one thing are procured and perfected.
3) Also, as all things are made from one, by the consideration of one, so all things were made from this one, by conjunction.
4) The father of it is the sun, the mother the moon.
5) The wind bore it in the womb. Its nurse is the earth, the mother of all perfection.
6) Its power is perfected.
7) If it is turned into earth,
7) Separate the earth from the fire, the subtle and thin from the crude and coarse, prudently, with modesty and wisdom.
8) This ascends from the earth into the sky and again descends from the sky to the earth, and receives the power and efficacy of things above and of things below.
9) By this means you will acquire the glory of the whole world, and so you will drive away all shadows and blindness.
10) For this by its fortitude snatches the palm from all other fortitude and power. For it is able to penetrate and subdue everything subtle and everything crude and hard.
11) By this means the world was founded
12) And hence the marvelous cojunctions of it and admirable effects, since this is the way by which these marvels may be brought about.
13) And because of this they have called me Hermes Tristmegistus since I have the three parts of the wisdom and Philosophy of the whole universe.
14) My speech is finished which I have spoken concerning the solar work.

The beautiful and charming owner of Goblin Cafe Allana was seen gleefully clutching Bottle 11/20 after the performance of The Kettle of Allen and Max at the Adelaide in Newtown this past saturday.
While not containing the coveted golden ticket the pencil sketchs of a dreamy dreamer by Robyn E Kenealy were treasure enough
