Sensible Susan and the Queen's Merkin: A Morality Play

Theatre Militia. Sensible Susan is the tale of a woman who chose nylons over Narnia. A hilarious, subversive take on the classic morality play, with the kind of naughty tweak only Theatre Militia can apply. Behold the perils of materialism and mediocrity as the wicked world of fantasy spills literally out of the closet...

a stonker of a play! a Lo-fi romp through the underworld in serach of Susan's mysteriously disappeared husband, aided only by the power the Queen Elizabeth's merkin (which is explained through a cheeky song). Susan is not the usual bold, brassy hero. The characters she meets make up for her meekness. A touch of song and dance, plenty of cross dressing and a very improtant moral to be learnt.
this play doesn't miss a beat and you'll be grinning the whole way through. a very guilty pleasure.

if you don't get tickets now you will miss out- it's that good!

    score: 12/10
