I can't believe the stupidity of this event!19.02.08

I was horrified to see what you/this event had done to our beautiful Civic Square. To allow, even encourage children to carry out graffitti in the current climate of concern about it seems very short-sighted and abusive of the general community who use that area. And to add to my concern, when out on my morning walk I saw the guys trying to hose it off....and not surprisingly, on porous Oamaru stone, it wasn't all coming off. How could you do this to a lovely pristine area? What message do you think you've sent to kids who were encouraged to think it's OK to draw mostly senseless and unintelligent messages all over public spaces? And, when will you be removing all the stuff along the stairs down to the lagoon, that didn't get removed? What do you plan to do about the remnants that won't wash off?
