Creature presents CHALK THE WALK
Time to unleash the artistic superhero within at this perennial Fringe favourite. Chalk the Walk gives you the chance to transform the sprawling, windswept pavement of Civic Square into an ocean of colour, wonder and bedazzlement. Wellington chalk artist extraordinaire Gary Humffreys will be on hand to get the ball rolling and teach you a few chalky tricks. We supply the tools, you supply the magical and mysterious creations from your imagination.

It's the Fringe's very own picnic, so come join us for an afternoon of awesome action, frolicking fun and super sun in the heart of Wellington. Fricnic comes equipped with the Legacy Dance Crew for radical hip hoppin', UK folk duo Katus joins the frivolities, the Tap That dancers will be there to rattle your bones, the Capital E Soundhouse Scholarship Students make an appearance behind the mic and singing sensation Rosita Vai belts out some melodic tunes for the masses. Plus there's face painting, storytelling and a bunch of choice kid's activities with our pals at Capital E.
