Art From Go To Whoa and Other Stories

Art Hysterical Productions. A symposium that examines the complete history of Western art and post-modern philosophical thought in a series of illustrated lectures. A non-stop whirlwind tiki-tour through the cultural jungle along hithertofore untrodden paths that succinctly dissect the discourse into readily comprehended rhyming verse. Not for the faint-hearted!

    well done ms plimmer!.
Covered a lot of ground in one hour - and with humour and poetry. A full house - yes indeedy - this afternoon. The first part was rather long and wordy though and I got a bit lost - but then i'm not an art histry student adn had little udnerstanding of the topic. It moved along at a chipper pace for the second half though.

    thanks

Ms Plimmer tells a tale with vigour and in verse
    Remarkably eloquent, yet sensibly terse.
For an hour across centuries of art and of thought
Is not easily framed, they are rarely thus caught.
    Post modern thinking…fat goddess thighs…
Thought and art assembled in appetising bite size
    With words and with pictures
In a slide show you know
With all the style and lantern magic
    Of a travelling show.
    And where we did go
    In this romp across time
    With images shining
    And rhyming sublime…
    From words about words
That nudged and knocked the mind
    To ideas about art
    Of this and that kind.
    There’s more things it seems
    Than I’d ever dreamt
    About all this stuff…
How it looks…. what it meant.
    Sweet mystery, a matrix
    How far we did travel
    Take a bow Ms P
    All this to unravel
    And weave up again
    With rhythm and rhyme
    You gave us all
    A jolly good time!
